Making problem photographs usable online
Here is a Before/After example of my photo enhancement services:
Enhancements included:
- Correct the geometry, with vertical lines vertical
- Correct “pincushion” distortion, which makes straight edges look curved
- Apply a tonal dynamic range “curve” to correct camera exposure
- Remove distracting image elements (edge of lamp shade on left border)
- Increase contrast to make wall detail more visible, etc.
- Improve color saturation for stronger hues
- Correct the colors, for a warmer look than the blue tinted window light
