Here you’ll find decades of distilled experience with Windows, and with teaching people how to use it, keep it from fighting with you and generally achieve a more carefree computing experience.
This is not a blog for advanced Windows geeks or trouble-shooters – it’s for new users, old folks trying to catch up and everyone who needs Windows in their life, but doesn’t want to devote too much time and energy to it.
As a past college instructor and long-time independent personal computer consultant, I do love to give you the background behind my advice, so you can really understand Windows and computing – rather than slavishly following a list of steps. But I know many of you just don’t want to know. So, I’ll clearly mark the parts you can skip if you feel you must. Just remember that you’re not doing yourself any favors by staying ignorant.
‘Til next post…
