Romantic Memories by Jenny Armitage

Jenny Armitage’s blog:
Blogging (web-logging) started as a kind of online personal diary. Jenny uses her excellent art blog in just this way. It’s like we’re looking over her shoulder as she starts and nurtures a watercolor painting to completion. And her work is very pleasing to the eye and nourishing to the soul.

She shows and speaks about the process of living as an artist – of conceiving and executing her work as a daily practice. Her blog name “Art In the Making” is very apt. You can watch excellent images being brought to live, while also learning about the life of an artist today. Highly recommended!

Stefan Morell’s web site AKA “Stonemason”:
As a digital artist who is just learning to sculpt my own 3D objects for use in my 3D scenes, I’ve had to locate the best commercially available, consumer priced 3D models to use. You can’t do that very long, or look at very much 3D art online, without running into Stefan’s amazing 3D modeling.

I’ve used his stunning and precisely detailed models in several of my scenes and have a couple more of his models just waiting for my next scene ideas. In other words, I’m a huge fan. Ideally, I’d like to use only my own models in my 3D scenes – but while I’m learning the highly skilled process of 3D sculpting, my own models will be minor props and supporting actors in scenes where models like Stefan’s and the DAZ 3D people models and clothing will predominate. Of course I still get to create and customize all the great 3D environmental components in Vue – the vegetation, clouds, atmospheres, water bodies, terrains, backgrounds, Vue models, light sources, and much more.

If you want to see most of Stefan’s work in one place, there is no better place than his own web site. And while you’re visiting the masters liar, look around for his generous 3D model freebies!

by Skip Hunt

Skip Hunt’s web site
Skip’s Live Travel Blog

Skip calls himself a vagabond for good reason! When he hears the call of the wild, he’s like a werewolf transfixed by a moonbeam – off on a motorcycle quest to Mexico or beyond. The difference between Skip and other wild men is that he kindly packs us (virtually) into his saddlebags along with his portable computer and digital camera.

Through that technology, his incredible eye for color and strong photos and his hankering for “On the Road” style writing, Skip treats us to the best of his travels, travails and adventures. As the road unwinds under his wheels, we receive near-real-time sights and insights that range a spectrum of marvelous, mischievous, miraculous or just plain hilarious – and always worthwhile.

Not to be missed folks!

Dana DiPasquale’s web site
I love photographers who distill and show me the vital essence of a scene. It’s rare to find so many essences in one place as Dana DiPasquale provides in her gallery!

Many photographers have an eye for spotting photos around them, but few can focus their personal vision like Dana. You only see this from the masters of the art.

Pat Carosone’s gallery.
If you love strong, clean photos with a sense of authority and grandeur, as I do, you must see Pat Carosone’s colorful work. Viewing will verify that his many years as an advertising artist have really paid off for we fans! Like the old saying goes – “You can tell the professional every time.” These are the kind of approachable, timeless images you’ll never tire of.

'Ranch Seller' - by Bob Duncan

Bob Duncan’s Gallery
Bob Duncan has an eye for scenes and visual stories which photographers must envy. …And he paints and draws in such a skillful way – honoring those scenes with joy and clarity.

As Bob says, “Blessed with sight, the visual world fascinates me.” His images amplify and pass on that blessing to we viewers. If you’re also grateful for and fascinated by our visual world, you should see it from Bob’s point of view.

'Jessica Daydreaming' - by Jean Hildebrant

Jean Hildebrant’s gallery

Want to experience some wonderful “traditional” (too good to ever pass out of style) figure painting?
Of course you do!

Jean Hildebrant has the master’s eye for the vital beauty of humans and other animals. With their living glow, her painted people look and feel more real that photos. Somehow Jean captures life in pigment.

And her personal vision is so strong that when she turns her talent to photography, the results look just like her paintings (I had to check the captions)!

Jean’s images could make your day.
