These are the tools and online resources I use and love. That’s why I recommend them, not for the (very small) affiliate commissions I may get for some of them – if you happen to buy from one of my links here.

DAZ|Studio

DAZ 3D is the home of the excellent free DAZ|Studio 3D model posing tool.

I like the free DAZ|Studio much better than the old dated ‘Poser’ software (Poser 7 is $162 at Amazon today). DAZ|Studio is an up to date new design, but already at version 3. It’s constantly being improved (even though still free). It’s interface is so much better than the frustrating and tired old user interface of Poser.

And it has built-in tools to keep all your 3D models and their components well organized. No more mucking about in your huge runtime files trying to keep Poser happy with your content. I finally had to give Poser up, because of my frustration with the cranky old interface and tools.

I highly recommend DAZ|Studio for the model posing stage of your 3D workflow.
