What’s it about?
There’s a revolution going on! An online digital art revolution. The new software art tools and web art portals give all artists, traditional and digital new opportunities.

Traditional manual artists can teach, learn, market and sell online. Those who have not benefited from traditional art tools, but want to become artists, have a chance to make outstanding art by learning art software tools.

This is a place to discuss and promote online art, the challenges all artists face, such as creativity, art criticism, learning art, art marketing and more.

Who am I?
I’m Jim Coe, a digital artist, fine art photographer and writer. Driven by a love of teaching, writing and art, I wrote ‘Art Head start’, my ebook for art students – which I’m now working on producing in printed form.

Why trust what I say?
I’m now older than dirt and have accumulated a lot of information and expertise. I’ve also developed many methods of use to visual workers. I’m big on honesty and sincerity and inherited a dominant pontification gene from my father (also a teacher).

So, you could say I’m long-winded but truthful.

Light and color are my lifelong passion. With one foot in science and the other in art, light, color and lighting are my biggest areas of expertise in visual communication.
